Flow (2024) | Rotten Tomatoes (1) John Powers NPR The fluidity of life runs through Flow, a marvelous animated movie from Latvia. Mar 1, 2025 Full Review Flow (2024) | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Kat Sachs Chicago Reader I found the simplicity of its story, about a group of animals in the wake of a great flood (and with no humans around, eliciting a discomfiting, postapocalyptic vibe), to be profoundly moving. Feb 21, 2025 Full Review Flow (2024) | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Sam Adams Slate To viewers who’ve grown accustomed to the animation industry’s push toward photorealism, Flow may look unfinished, even cheap. But there’s beauty in its simplicity, as well as an invitation. Feb 14, 2025 Full Review Flow (2024) | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Buffy de Latour SciFiNow As mystifying as it is magnificent, Flow is a feast for the eyes and ears, food for thought, and a wonderful cinematic experience. Rated: 4/5 Mar 1, 2025 Full Review Flow (2024) | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Abhishek Srivastava The Times of India Every aspect of the film exudes a sense of calm, from its breath-taking visuals to its carefully chosen cast of animals...It’s a feel-good film—therapeutic in its execution—offering a rare blend of serenity and emotional depth. Rated: 4.5/5 Feb 28, 2025 Full Review Flow (2024) | Rotten Tomatoes (6) Pablo O. Scholz Clarín ...Flow is not just a simple animated comedy, even though it has several humorous moments, rather, it is about solidarity, friendship and the need to act as a group to achieve a common good. Mark Its a cool movie about a cat going on a journey, what more do you want. The movies take away message is up to the viewer for sure but they had a neat way of expressing what they wanted to the audience. Would definitely recommend being high for it, or not its a cool well animated movie either way Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/25 Full Review J G A parable for modern life Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/25 Full Review Erik H "Flow" is a beautiful, wordless animation with wonderful art design backed by a stirring orchestral soundtrack. Young or sensitive cat lovers may find some early segments intense. For most of the film's running time, the obstacles don't really vary, leading to a question of whether the plot is progressing. The third act, while not overwhelming, is one of the bleakest I've seen in any recent film.Between this and "Sonic the Hedgehog 3," I'm sick of movies—especially children's movies—delivering faux-depressing endings and "redeeming" themselves after the credits. But that's my only complaint. 90% Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/25 Full Review Gary G Over hyped and in what world do bizarre shaped mountain like towers exist with a city by them not to mention mutant dinosaur-ish whales exist. Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/25 Full Review Joey Truly a special experience Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/25 Full Review Maria H An amazing, story driven experience with not a word spokenno gimmicks needed as the animation does it all. The loving attention to the details about the animals behavior and how they express emotion, curiousity, intelligence etc are perfectly captured, the backgrounds are lush and immersive and you better bring tissues.
